About Temple
Sri Tiruvenkatanatha Swamy/ Sri Tiruvengalanatha Swamy Temple located at Mylasamudram, Kothacheruvu Mandal- Sri Satya Sai District of Andhra Pradesh. Sri Tiruvenkatanatha Swamy/ Sri Tiruvengalanatha Swamy is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the Idol in itself has both Sree Devi and Bhoo Devi Ammavarlu. This temple is the most powerful and divine one that is situated in the serene and calm environment on the bank of Mylasamudram Major Tank Bund. This temple has ample years of history and according to some sources including legends, the Idol was installed some 600 years during Achyutha Raya reign of Vijayanagara Kingdom. Later on, after five centuries the stone built temple was removed safely and renovated by building new Antharalaya. The Antharalaya of temple was built in 1971 by Late. Shri. V P Ramachandra Rao (Village Magistrate) and his elder son Late Shri. P Venkatadri Rao with the help of TTD, Tirupati. Now after four decades this temple needs further renovation and development. This includes the installation of Dwajasthambham, construction of Maha Gopuram, Compound wall and other infrastructure. Hence, for this purpose Late Shri. P. Prabhakara Rao (Retired MEO, President WUA, Mylasamudram, President SRM Rural Development Association), the younger son of Late. Shri. V P Ramachandra Rao, formed the Trust by name Sri Tiruvenkatanatha Swamy Temple Trust (Reg. No. 45/2019 SRO-BKP) along with four other members to renovate and further develop the temple. To collect the donations the trust has its own account and the financial management is going on in a transparent and fully accountable way. We value the generous donations and esteemed suggestions given by the donors. Hence, in this connection we request all donors to kindly donate amounts to the above said trust and help in renovating & further developing the temple. We also appreciate and whole heartedly welcome you to visit the most divine & serene temple to experience the zenith of ecstasy and divine elegance. This is the Main Idol of Lord Sri Tiruvenkatanatha Swamy made of pure Krishna Sila and in which both Goddesses Sridevi and Bhudevi Ammavarlu present in the same Idol itself along with Srivaru. This Idol was Installed some 600 years back and this kind of idols are rare to find in India. This is the most powerful and divine Idol located in this temple.
